Call of Duty Mobile is continuously evolving and introducing innovative modes. With the recent Season 1: New Order update, CoDM introduced two brand new modes to the game. The first is a multiplayer mode to launch the Reclaim map, and the second is the Blitz mode in battle royale.

Blitz, as the name suggests, is an aggressive and fast-paced version of the traditional BR. It is not unlike something we have seen in other BR games; however, it is very new for CoDM, which is only over a year old. Instead of releasing a smaller map, BR games often introduce a new mode where players fight in a small zone.

This mode will not take place on a new map like Alcatraz but on Isolated itself. However, if you have tried out Alcatraz, then you have an idea of what Blitz is going to be like. For many players, the idea of passive gameplay in Battle Royale is very tiresome. Usually, it takes two to three circles for a full-length BR game to get intense and fun.

Blitz serves these players perfectly. There are chances of a fight immediately after landing on the ground. The selected map zone usually has very few buildings and all players need to loot from what is available. This ensues a mad rush and several players are killed by the lucky droppers who get the weapons first.

Blitz mode in Call of Duty Mobile BR: All you need to know

Blitz might take place on the biggest BR map in Call of Duty Mobile, but it supports fewer players per match. Only 40 players drop in together to fight it out inside a very small zone. However, don’t think even for once that Blitz will be easy because of the less player count. Even in a tight match in the normal BR, players seldom experience over 25 players in the last circle of the game.

This game mode has a few limitations like players can only play this in the third-person-perspective mode. Further, duos or solos are not allowed in Blitz, but players can turn off the ‘Fill the Squad’ option to play with as many players they like on the team.

This is also a time-limited event and will get over on February 4. Grinding this event has rewards of its own, with the highest reward being an epic charm: Flip Trick. After this event, CoDM has other events lined up for BR.

As the Blitz mode is an event, it will not contribute to your rank XP but will help in grinding out the Battle Pass. This mode will return at the end of the season, so make sure you do not miss out.
