The end of Call of Duty: Mobile Season 4 is just around the corner. Activision has already released the roadmap for Season 5, which includes exciting new additions. Apart from all the new maps and skins, the highlight of the season is certainly going to be the new weapon.

The CR-56 AMAX is a powerful assault rifle from Call of Duty: Warzone. In fact, since the past couple of seasons, the AMAX has been dominating the meta in Warzone. Naturally, players are excited to see how the new AR changes the weapon meta in CODM.

For all those wondering how to obtain the AMAX, just like previous seasonal weapons, the assault rifle will also arrive in the Battle Pass. A base version of the weapon will be available for free in tier 21 of the pass. Players who buy the Battle Pass can also get the epic version of the AMAX once they max out the pass.

The Battle Pass for Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 will arrive on June 28 at 5 PM PT. This will also include various other weapon skins, operators, charms, emotes, and more. From the teaser released by the official CODM account on Twitter, there is hardly a difference between the base and the epic variant of the AR.

In terms of stats, the AMAX has a damage of 40, making it a 3-shot weapon. It has a decent accuracy of 50 with a high fire rate and mobility of 71 and 76, respectively. Similar to other ARs, this is also suitable for mid-long range combat with a decent accuracy of 50.

Will the AMAX disturb the current CODM weapon meta?

The current weapon meta in Call of Duty: Mobile is fairly balanced with a variety of weapons viable for combat. It’s hard to say out of all the classes which is the superior one. ARs, SMGs, and LMGs have all been dominating the game and are a fair counter to each other.

Naturally, many players are worried about whether the arrival of the AMAX will disturb this balance. Even from its base stats, the gun looks fairly powerful. This power is only going to increase with the right attachments. Therefore, it’s hard to tell the impact this weapon will have on the game. If it is anything like the Warzone version, it is definitely going to be in the hands of all the players.
