Call of Duty Mobile‘s Season 12 is probably the biggest letdown since the Gunsmith update. Following the Anniversary celebrations, this season was an enormous disappointment. The primary reason it is not working out for most players is that there is nothing new to experience. Even the new night maps were a colossal disappointment. Moreover, the new multiplayer map, Hackney Yard, seldom appears on the random matchmaking list.

The only thing that devs at Activision seem to have changed this season are the weapons. No, we are not talking about the new AGR 556. The new meta shift in Call of Duty Mobile is quite amusing and annoying at the same time. Ranked multiplayer players have very limited choices, like the HVK or the Fennec, both of which are ridiculously good.

The weapon choices in Battle Royale are again very interesting, and we will talk about some of them here.

1. QQ9– This was never a weapon of choice for most Battle Royale players. The RUS and the HG-40 are the popular choices over CODM’s MP5. Nonetheless, this gun has a lower time-to-kill than most SMGs. Its time to kill is 0.84ms, while both the RUS and the HG-40 kill in 0.94ms and 0.97ms, respectively. The recoil is quite high, but the gun is a beast in close quarters.
2. Ak117– This AR got a buff this season and is definitely a top pick now. The mobility and the range this weapon provides is extremely crucial for BR. Never hesitate with an Ak117 next time you see it on the ground.
3. Echo– It is ridiculously good on Warzone and we can say the same for CODM. Spamming the Echo shotgun can get you out of tight spaces within seconds. With high mobility, high damage and 0.83ms time to kill, this weapon is a must for aggressive short range gameplay. Furthermore, using the Echo requires no skill when compared to other guns.
4. Exotic Arctic .50– While you can only pick it from a drop, the gun is overpowered in every sense. It can kill with just one shot in any range if it is on the head. Level 3 armor is a cute joke in front of this beast. Next time if you are contemplating if it’s worth the risk to loot a drop, remember someone else might use it on you later in the game.
5. M4LMG- If you are surprised to see an LMG make the list, well, playing with it will surprise you more. The gun has a higher mobility than the ASM10 and a time to kill equal to the QQ9. In addition, it comes with a huge mag and therefore there is no risk of running out of bullets. The only downside of this weapon is that it loses damage with a range beyond 50m.
