Players have been really excited to try out the exciting new additions in Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare that came with the 5th season. With a host of newly unlocked explorable areas, new weapons, a new character, and much more, WZ has stepped up its game and has successfully got the existing player base absolutely hooked. However, the game has always had new glitches and issues coming up, and unfortunately, so is the case with the current Season 5 update.

Players have been experiencing a visual glitch in the game since this update. It looks unnerving at best and is creating a huge issue in the gameplay, especially during competitive matches where the stakes are high. A lot of pros and players have experienced this, including Nickmercs, Timthetatman, Frozone, and others. Tim even made a video about it on his YT channel.

New Season, new glitch on Call of Duty Warzone

To be honest, the game has had its fair share of issues and glitches over the years. So, what happens in this current glitch is various textures in the game into shard-like pieces, thus blocking the view.

When this happens to the textures of the weapons, frankly that makes the players look like they are wielding alien-infected symbiotic guns. You’d basically look like a boss villain from Dark Souls. And it does look really cool. But then, the glitch is causing major problems in player efficiency, as one would expect it to do.

Players who have experienced this are sure that this glitch was not there in the previous seasons of Modern Warfare. Now, this does come as a bit of bad news because the updates in the game that this season brought are genuinely impressive. This latest glitch is yet another example of how broken the game is.

Warzone brought a lot of new features to the Battle Royal genre and there has been some issue or the other in the game. The hacker-infested lobbies, the lack of gun balance in the arsenal, and now, this performance issue. Infinity Ward and Activision should look into this graphical glitch since its making the game unplayable.
