There have been numerous talks about the best gun currently in Call of Duty Warzone. Sure, we have answers like the Grau 5.56, Bruen, MK9 LMG, and so on. But what exactly does the phrase “best gun” entail? Certainly, not one that has messed up the gameplay meta. Now, obviously we are referring to the gun balance in the game’s arsenal. Recently, popular Twitch streamer Aydan made a video where he calls the Galil, or CR-56 AMAX, the most overpowered and the most underrated gun in WZ right now.

Now, even after some major nerfs, the Grau still remains a stable Assault Rifle, and in terms of power, we have the FAL. But the CR-56 AMAX has brought a good balance to the game as an AR. Aydan himself uses this gun to get most of the kills in this video and to be honest, it’s looking good. Check Gun Stats here.

AMAX may become the potential OP weapon in Call of Duty WZ

The gun has reasonable firepower for an AR, combined with good stability while wielding. In the video, you can see Aydan grabbing mid to long-range kills with the weapon, using iron sight. So that speaks for the gun’s impressive range as well. You can compare this to the KN44 assault rifle from Black Ops 3 (currently found in Call of Duty Mobile).

The KN44, for a while after its nascence in the CoD Mobile scene, had been part of the gameplay meta, and for good reason. The KN had a decent range, dealing average damage in mid to long-range. It was quite stable too before its nerf increased the recoil and reduced the damage somewhat.

CS: GO players must be well-acquainted with the Galil AR and what it is capable of. Sure, the stats of the weapon will differ in WZ but the gun has already shown lethal capacity in the game. Along with this, there is the medium penetrating power and a large clip capacity, in addition to excellent iron sight precision and low recoil. This will take a short while to master, but in the right hands, CR-56 AMAX is as lethal as it gets.
