But fans of the game possessing the next-generation consoles from PlayStation and Xbox have more reasons to cheer about. The developers recently released a new texture pack that will certainly improve the visuals of players using the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Warzone has a new 1440p texture pack for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
Raven Software revealed a new texture pack for the popular Battle Royale title for players using 1440p displays and better. It will be available for player using the PlayStation 5, PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately for base Xbox One and PS4 users, this texture pack won’t be available as it cannot run games at resolutions more than 1080p.

This new texture pack for Call of Duty Warzone will take up around 7 GB of storage on the consoles. It’s the fifth update in the visuals department for the game so far. Usually, these updates for the texture packs would contain updates to the buildings, and a slight increase in the visual detail for items like weapons, consumables, vehicles and many more. But, this is the first time that console players can improve the resolution of the visuals.

The game will receive an upgraded version for next-generation consoles
Over the past few months, Warzone has received a lot of updates for the next-generation variants. The game currently runs quite smoothly because it supports 120 Hz on both PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X. However, the visuals don’t differ drastically from the older generation consoles. But PS5 and Series X players don’t have to worry about that as the developers are currently working on a upgraded version for these consoles. They haven’t revealed a released date yet, but it should arrive soon.

It will be interesting to see how the visuals can be improved for the next-generation consoles from PlayStation and Xbox. The gameplay upgrade would be massive for players who would love to have a smoother experience, and they should definitely be excited about it.
