Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 Patch Notes: Ground Fall Event, Map Changes, and More

Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone is finally here. In Season 3, players witnessed a new Verdansk’84 map and a wide range of weapon tunings. Moreover, classic 80s operators such as as John Rambo, John McClane also arrived in the game.

Following a successful Season 3, Raven Software is certainly keen to continue the momentum with Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone. The developer recently revealed the patch notes for the latest update, that contained new weapons, vehicles, map changes, and events, among other things.

New Ground Fall event in Call of Duty Warzone

A limited-time event named Ground Fall is available at the launch of Season 4. Players must find and secure the latest sat-link stations to discover the locations of falling satellites. Thereafter, they must loot the satellites for brilliant loot and cash rewards.

Here are the rewards that you can receive after completing all the objectives for Ground Fall:

  • Emblems
  • Calling Cards
  • Satelite Weapon Charm
  • XP
  • Epic Secondary Weapon Blueprint

The Verdansk Resurgence Mini mode will further intensify the action in Warzone in Season 4. There will be no gulag, and eliminating a player will lead to a compromise of the entire squad’s location. The first play circle is also absent, which implies that the games will be much shorter and fast-paced.

Every map change in Verdansk with Season 4

Verdansk now contains red doors, and a new management has taken over the work of the Downtown Tower. A new gulag based on the classic Hijacked map has replaced the Season 3’s Standoff based gulag.

Some Satellites have crashed on the map in the following locations:

  • Krovnik Farmland
  • Bloc 18
  • Bloc 16
  • Gora Bridge

Gameplay changes coming to Warzone

Lastly, a wide range of gameplay changes that include new vehicles, loot adjustments, weapon tunings are part of the Season 4 update.

The Dirt Bike will easily be one of the biggest highlights of the latest season. It is faster than every other vehicle in Warzone and also drifts at high speeds. As compared to the ATV, the Dirt Bike has the same health, and can incorporate two operators only.

The loot in Warzone will now offer the Combat Bow Killstreak, and the C58 (BOCW) and MG 82 (BOCW). Unfortunately, the spawn rate for the Self-Revive has been reduced.

All in all, Season 4 of Call of Duty Warzone is stacked with new content which is great because Battlefield 2042 and Halo Infinite will soon release in 2021. It is obvious that both the new games will severely affect the popularity of existing multiplayer games such as Warzone, Fortnite, and Black Ops Cold War.
