The Call of Duty Warzone Season 6 is almost here and PlayStation has just shared some great news for PS4 players. Just like the Season 5 update, the Season 6 update for Warzone is available for pre-load, but only on PS4. PlayStation?s official account announced this earlier in a tweet.

Although, this will probably only infuriate Xbox One and PC users. When the update rolls out for these platforms, PlayStation users will already be installing the game to play it. Clearly, this is something Activision will look to eliminate with its upcoming Black Ops Cold War title. Additionally, this may also change with the advent of the next-gen Xbox Series X.

Season 6 of Call of Duty Warzone introduces a rather interesting feature to Verdansk: Subway Stations. Not only is the map now accessible underground, but it also opens up so many different avenues for players. For instance, the combat experience now completely changes considering the stations will change the way players strategize.

One potential drawback of the subway station could be that players start camping down there. This is one problem that may be a little annoying. Although, there are certain rules while engaging in combat aboard the subway trains. For instance, the subway will not move if there is firing while players are on board the trains. Additionally, the train will also not move in the direction of areas already covered by the toxic gas. So, even though the subway will be a great mode of fast-travel, players will have to use it strategically.

As far as operators are concerned, Nikolai and Farah make their way into Verdansk. They are the ones responsible for powering up the subway network. In addition to this, the battle pass for Season 6 also includes different skins for these operators.

Unfortunately, there is no word on the patch notes for the new season, yet. There will obviously be a lot of changes announced to the game, but the nature of it remains unknown for the time being. This will also, in all probability, be the last season before the Black Ops Cold War launch. More details regarding the future of MW and Warzone will be revealed soon.
