The weekend offer included 6v6 matches on 5 different multiplayer maps. Call of Duty launched the Season 5 of Modern Warfare and Warzone earlier this week. The free trial gave you a shot at exploring 2 new maps from season 5- Suldal Harbor and Petrov Oil Rig. Plenty of modes were made available as well. These included Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint.

However, Season 5 will entail a ‘mid-season’ event that could possibly reflect the next Call of Duty game. Activision President Robert Kostich did confirm that a game is coming and will be announced via Warzone. But the exact date, or any further information, wasn’t provided.
