Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Season 5 update rolled out day before yesterday and the changes are mindblowing. Infinity Ward has given players the biggest Warzone update since its inception. There are new locations, new guns, a new Operator, and even a behemoth of a train. Players could not be more hyped about the new changes which demand settling in for different gameplay styles now.

But guess who gets the most excited whenever a new update rolls out? Gaming streamers and content creators. These people have a duty to show people what is going on with everything inside a popular game. As you can guess, there were tons of videos that rolled out on streaming platforms since the update went live. Apart from the regular gameplay videos, I found something interesting. Popular streamer and content creator for YouTube, Nickmercs posted a new video yesterday,

This is interesting as the patch notes for this season were pretty long and you would think Infinity Ward covered it all. You would also think this was a clickbait title. After a proper bit of digging here’s what I found;

5 things not mentioned on Call Of Duty Warzone patch notes

  1. Free armor plates– One kill, one ‘free’ armor plate. Previously, a player could get an armor plate from a kill only if the opponent had it in their inventory. Now, that is not the case. Bring out the Grau and shred through enemy ranks because your armor is covered.
  2. Toxic Gas Cans– Any fan of CODM will know what Nova Gas is and exactly what it does. Warzone now has a similar thing, only in the form of Gas cans. To be found all around Verdansk these gas can burst when shot at and can cause health damage on exposure. So feel free to save your bullets and gas out your enemy.
  3.  Another new gun? Well, data miners think so. A new KAC LMG might be added to the game mid-season.

  4. Bunkers and Keycards– Remember the keycards in legendary crates? That did nothing? Well, they are working now. And not just legendary crates, you can get them in any type. The bunkers don’t have numbers anymore so don’t get lost. Use the keycards to open bunkers and loot at will. Pssst! Did you know there are secret rooms at the Stadium? Now you know. These rooms require access cards as well but they are called ‘EL-21’? I don’t why but keep a lookout on the ground to find them.
  5. Lastly, the Grau has a new barrel. It is called the FSS 11.8″ Squall. You have to go ahead and unlock it by completing a challenge. As for features, it does have a clean iron-sight and that is pretty much it. Honestly, it’s not too good. Maybe that’s why they forgot to mention it.
