Call of Duty Warzone nuke will destroy Verdansk

TheGamingRevolution on YouTube made a video breaking down the Nuke Event trailer. He believes that all the leaks tie up together to make an interesting Call of Duty Warzone storyline. According to him, the zombies emerging from the shipwreck are going to cover the entire island. The only way to stop the infestation will be to nuke the island.

Previously, rumors had suggested that the Ural Mountains map, a combination of all the Fireteam maps from Black Ops Cold War, will arrive in Warzone on its anniversary. However, with March 10 just a few days away, this doesn’t seem plausible anymore. Instead, fans will be getting the new game modes on the anniversary.

This puts the timeline for the release of the Ural Mountains map at around April. The new map is going to be much bigger than Verdansk and much more open as well. It is definitely going to need some adjusting to.

Will Verdansk be gone forever?

In the video, TGR predicts that if Activision decides to go down this road, it will remove Verdansk from Call of Duty Warzone. However, this will probably not be a permanent change. Warzone players love the dynamics of the current map, and therefore, do not want it gone from the game.

Most likely, Verdansk will be gone for a couple of days and then return. It might also have some changes following a nuclear disaster. Rest assured, fans are going to have a great few weeks playing Call of Duty Warzone will all the content planned for Season 2.
