It is a rare feat for any bodybuilder to amaze Jay Cutler. However, a 5-foot and 10 inches IFBB professional managed to achieve this feat. In a 2022 conversation with Chris Cormier, Cutler talked about how his perspective on the bodybuilding legend gradually changed.

Reflecting on Cormier’s strong points, Cutler described how Cormier made an impact in the field of bodybuilding. Along with this, Cutler also told an interesting anecdote involving Chris Lund which increased his admiration for Cormier.

Jay Cutler’s Admissions about Chris Cormier
During a 2022 episode of Cutler Cast, the 4X Olympia champion narrated how he visited Chris Lund who told him an astonishing fact. “I remember going to the Flex photo shoot… Chris Lund would be like Chris Cormier just came in and banged out 200 pound dumbbells. Continuing, the 4x Olympia Champion revealed, “I didn’t think you were an overly big dude”. Later, after Cormier admitted the same, Cutler praised Cormier’s prowess. “You were fu***** strong dude.”

Along with this, Cutler also recounted how much Cormier helped him despite being a competitor. “He was a mentor to me,” Cutler spoke. Cutler further added, “He actually told me things that a competitor really wouldn’t tell someone.” These words clearly make Cormier’s and Cutler’s strong bond more evident.

The 4X Olympia champion reflected how Cormier was one of the bodybuilders whose journey he had followed since his teenage years. Talking about how he knew the bodybuilder from books, Cutler explained how he witnessed Cormier winning his Pro Card in America in 1993. Needless to say, Cormier had a great influence on Cutler’s bodybuilding journey.

Jay Cutler reveals his view about the freakiest bodybuilder
During an interview, Cutler called Lee Priest the freakiest bodybuilder. He reasoned that though Priest was 20 years old at that time, he looked huge. Continuing, the legend added that he hadn’t seen anyone like Lee Priest before and it was unbelievable.
