The night of the legacies! Yesterday, the Brighten Center lit up as members of two illustrious boxing families in England did their kinsfolk immensely proud. Headlining the event billed ‘Bloodline,’ Chris Eubank Jr.’s cousin Harlem Eubank stopped his German opponent Timo Schwarzkopf in the eleventh round. Later, Roman Fury, Tyson Fury’s half-brother, also knocked out Bradley Davies. With the win, 30-year-old Harlem maintains an unbeaten record of 18 wins, seven of which were knockouts.
The son of Sam Eubank, brother of Chris Eubank Sr., debuted six years ago. Initially, he appeared to be struggling. However, toward the later rounds, he recovered. Finally, in the eleventh, a lightening right hook from Harlem Eubank saw Schwarzkopf touching the canvas. Though he got up, it was clear the battle was over for him. The referee fittingly waived his hands, putting an end to the visitor’s misery. The Brighton native recently made news with his legendary uncle pitching his name as a possible line-up against the returning Conor Benn.
