Despite suffering a disqualification against Logan Paul on October 14th, Dillon Danis claimed Logan Paul could not even tickle him. Likewise, Danis felt he should be appreciated for taking the match against Paul despite not being a boxer. While these statements now may seem like lame excuses, one must admit that Danis could not walk the walk even though he created hype.
At the press conference, Dillon Danis claimed he would knock out Logan Paul unconscious. In addition, claiming Paul only had a big overhand, the 30-year-old emphasized it would be “an easy match” for him. And given Logan Paul’s resume, Canadian rapper Drake placed his money on ‘The Maverick’.

Dillon Danis enlivens Drake after the latter loses $850K
Ahead of the fight on October 14th, the “Own It” hitmaker placed a figure of $850,000 on Paul winning the match via stoppage. According to sources, Drake would have won $1.3 million had Paul won the bout via technical knockout. However, as fate would have it, instead of a TKO, Paul won the contest via disqualification. Likewise, Drake lost his money despite betting on the right figure this time. But, soon after the outcome of Paul vs. Danis upset the artist, Dillon Danis enlivened Drake with his hilarious remarks.

While Drake yet again lost a bet, Danis felt it was unfair that the former only placed $850k against the mixed martial artist. In Danis’ opinion, the 5-time Grammy winner should have gone for a larger sum of money. Likewise, Danis wrote, “850 on my head is disrespect.” At this, although Drake unfortunately missed out on $1.3 million, he could not help but laugh. As a result, taking to Instagram, in a story which is currently unavailable, he expressed himself with a number of laughing emojis. However, something completely unexpected happened when Danis later apologised to Drake.
Danis apologised to the Canadian rapper
While Danis thought Drake disrespected him by placing only $850k on Logan Paul, the 30-year-old was also sorry that the rapper lost the bet. In his opinion, Drake should have never gone up against “a dawg“. Likewise, in the wake of his defeat to ‘The Maverick,’ Danis took to X and apologised to the artist. “Sorry, you lost that 850k never bet against a dawg,” wrote Dillon Danis who dragged Joe Rogan into his ugly fight.

In this context, it is also worth mentioning that even though Danis announced Drake lost, there are sources that claim the rapper actually won since disqualification was considered a technical knockout. Hopefully, Drake will soon make a statement regarding this and clarify whether or not he won $1.3 million.
