Brooklyn is sparkling with anticipation right now! The two undefeated champions, Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia are set to collide on April 20th at the Barclays Center. This highly anticipated fight for the WBC super lightweight title is a clash between two young, skilled fighters with a history dating back to their amateur days.
Having faced each other six times as amateurs with a score of 3-3, sparks are guaranteed to fly when they step into the professional ring. Tickets are already available on StubHub, starting at $241 and then ranging up to $23,125. However, Garcia decided to raise questions about the expensive purchase of the tickets. However, Devin Haney seemed annoyed about it.

Devin Haney seems peeved
A few hours ago, Ryan Garcia leaked his DMs on his Instagram Story and talked about how he’s trying to reduce the ticket prices. He assured fans that he was working on lowering the prices for them, and over the screenshot, he wrote, “Working on it.” Then, Haney reacted to this story.

Garcia’s Instagram story was further shared by the boxing reporter Michael Benson, where the reporter mentioned, “Ryan Garcia posting his messages about ticket prices for the Devin Haney fight today…” Haney was annoyed at KingRy’s interference as he wrote, “This f***ing guy” while sharing the post on X.
The post consisted of some personal messages that Garcia sent to the Golden Boy Promotions director Jane Murcia. He tried to convey that the tickets were too expensive and they needed to be reduced.

Ryan Garcia takes action “for the people”
In the text messages, he starts by asking for updates on the ticket sales from Jane Murcia. In response, Jane wrote, “We’ve sold 1600 tickets so far.” The fight will be taking place at the home of the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, and has a capacity of up to 19000 seats.
So, there’s still time for the fans to book their seats. But, they should wait for some time, before they spend their money on the tickets since Garcia is working on lowering the price. After Jane stated that the price had been set by his promoter Oscar De La Hoya and attorney Lupe Valencia. Then, ‘The Flash’ wrote, “They need to lower it it’s not affordable,” followed up by “For the people.”
