You know a man is dangerous when he receives the nickname of ‘The Executioner’. Well, Bernard Hopkins was indeed a force to be reckoned with. Very few boxers have been as dominant as Hopkins was in the middleweight division in the early 2000s. Currently, Hopkins, after his retirement, works as De La Hoya’s business partner in Golden Boy Promotions.
After Devin Haney‘s win against Regis Prograis, he has been on the lookout for the next opponent and Ryan Garcia has come up as an attractive option. Both parties have been in talks for a fight which fans hope will materialize soon. Recently, Hopkins went on an interview to speak of the much-anticipated match between Haney and Garcia. The two fighters have been going back and forth against each other on social media. Amid their beef, Hopkins gave his opinion on their ‘lip service’. Let us see what he had to say.

He went on to say, “I think the drama queens is starting to get to the point where the fans are getting turned off and don’t care who they fight or when the fight.”
Hopkins mentioned how after a while, the ‘lip service’ gets boring. When asked about what he thinks of the how the fight would pan out in the ring, he said, “I think it’s a even fight.” He further added, “For boxing, I think it’s a fight that people can live with or live without.” essentially saying the fight is not a must-see. How has Haney attacked Garcia in the recent development in their feud?
