Through his Instagram and Twitter accounts, Payne broke the news, expressing his regret, “Hey guys this really is the last news I want to be telling you but basically I’ve been a little bit unwell recently and I ended up in the hospital with a bad kidney infection.” The 29-year-old singer disclosed that touring was no longer an option due to his current health status, saying, “We’ve started rehearsals, but it’s not the right time to be on the road, trying to recover from this.”

He mentioned that rescheduling was in the works, asking fans to find ways to refund their tickets. Concluding his video message, Liam offered an optimistic note, “I’m eager to see you all soon. Hopefully, we’ll put on an even bigger and better show. Thank you and apologies.” He also informed fans that his team was working on rescheduling the tour, and ticket refunds could be requested at the point of purchase.
