Things appear shaky as far as the Logan Paul and Dillon Danis fight is concerned. The two will face each other at the Manchester Arena next week, on October 14. So far, the Bellator mixed martial arts fighter and Conor McGregor‘s training partner has had a free run by targeting Paul’s girlfriend, Nina Agdal. But the Danish model, in turn, filed a case against him alongside a restraining order. Reportedly, the damages sought by Agdal hover around $150,000.

But as it appears, there’s much more to the saga than meets the eye. Logan Paul joined his brother Jake Paul and his team of co-hosts on the latter’s podcast, BS w/ Jake Paul. Their discussion seems to shed a new light as the fight date approaches.

Logan Paul unveils new details

‘The Maverick’ appeared on the show wearing a new Patek Phillipe watch on his left and a wrist brace on his right hand. So when Jake Paul asked whether he could participate in the fight, Logan Paul said he would proceed with the bout. Then, he explained how he hurt himself while training. But soon, letting the cat out of the bag, the WWE superstar revealed he didn’t suffer any injury. The prop was all in jest: “…because I’m not trying to scare Dillon away from this fight,” he said.

Wondering whether Dillon Danis would make himself present next week, Jake Paul said, “Bro, I…I honestly think he has to fight now. I mean, we can just get right into right. We can get right into it…but I have, uh, I think he’s forced to fight now, interestingly enough, because he committed a federal client crime…..” His elder brother interjected that there was no need to get into the specifics.

Jake Paul said, “I think now, because of the lawsuit, he has to fight you to make the money that from the fight that he was [going to] make, but before that, I fully thought he was [going to] back out, but interestingly enough, he walked himself into this situation where he’s [going to] need money otherwise he’s going to declare bankruptcy.” But Logan Paul added that even if that happens, he might still have to deal with all the claims made on the earnings he receives for the rest of his life!

Does Dillon Danis own up?

‘The Problem Child’ shared his perspective that it was apparent that Dillon Danis did something. And, in a way, he accepted it on camera. Hence, in all probability, his lawyers would have advised that it was ‘game-over’ for him. On his Instagram account, Co-host Brandon Amato said that Logan Paul mentioned having a clip (he has yet to see) of the face-to-face conversation with Danis, wherein he incriminated himself.

Logan Paul shared that he had posted it yesterday. Talking about the face-to-face, he said, “in the face-to-face, I gave him a little light deposition where he incriminated himself, but he’s a dumb**, so he didn’t know what I was doing, and he doesn’t know that what he did, is is wrong, like I also think people are confused about what the lawsuit is. I think a lot of people think it’s about, like the photos he’s been posting the photos that are online it’s not it’s about a serious crime he committed.”

Both the brothers discussed how the legal fee and the damages would be grossly detrimental to Danis’ financial standing. It becomes all the more pertinent reason for the mixed martial artist to participate in The Prime Card. Not to forget the $100k he would have to shell out if he dodged the fight. ‘The Problem Child’ believes that the maximum amount Dillon Danis would have in his account should be in the neighborhood of $60,000.
