One fan found it endearing that both the world champions did not carry their belts to the event. In the last year, the Fury-Usyk clash has transcended beyond the necessity of the title unification. Today, the boxing realm remains on its toes just to see the giants collide with each other to determine who among them is the better fighter.

Another fan was appreciative of the efforts and resources the Saudis are channeling toward the sport of boxing. Apart from the Ring of Fire, they have also stacked up an impressive card for the 23rd of December. It features elite names like Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, and Daniel Dubois.

A fan reiterated the fact that this fight is truly historic in its sense.

Another fan did not agree with Fury getting the fight. They remained keen on seeing Cameroonian fighter, Francis Ngannou go against Usyk. On the 28th of October, Gypsy King entered the ring against a novice boxer, Ngannou in an exhibition-esque fight. For a champion like Fury, the fight did not come in his favor. He managed to win the bout only through a split decision against a fighter who’s never boxed before.

However, then came a fan who predicted the fight in Tyson Fury’s favor.

Who emerges as the ultimate champion of the heavyweight class? Only time will tell. But, Fury has gained the support of one important opinion leader.

Tyson Fury gets backed up by Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson maintains an unwavering outlook on Tyson Fury’s upcoming title clash against Oleksandr Usyk. The scheduled undisputed championship bout between Fury and Usyk is a monumental challenge for both fighters. But, Concerns emerged post-Fury’s narrow victory over Ngannou, prompting doubts about his readiness for Usyk. However, Tyson, who trained Ngannou against Fury, refrains from allowing Fury’s last performance to cloud his predictions for the upcoming fight.

He said, “I got to go with Fury,” Tyson said. “I think he’s the best fighter in the world, especially in the heavyweight division. Great fighters lose, great fighters look bad, but that doesn’t stop them from being great fighters.” Acknowledging Fury’s tough night against Ngannou, Tyson cited Fury’s championship status to pick him as his favorite. Despite the surprising struggle against Ngannou, Tyson believes that Fury will triumph against Usyk.

Despite Fury’s recent struggles, Tyson’s unwavering faith in Fury’s overall skill and capability to conquer Usyk remains resolute, reflecting the adage that occasional setbacks don’t define the enduring prowess of a champion. In this showdown of a lifetime, the fight seems to be favoring both Usyk and Fury. Who leaps the contest? Stay tuned with us as we follow the developments on this front closely.
