Age is gradually catching up to the former WBC Heavyweight Champion, Derek Chisora. Many boxing fans believed when Chisora lost to Tyson Fury back in December 2022, he’d be retiring from the sport. But he surprised everyone when he was spotted on the canvas against Gerald Washington on the Anthony JoshuaRobert Helenius undercard. After the fight, many fans came forward with their opinions on how it was high time that Chisora takes a leave from the sport.

At first, Chisora and Washington started with a bang, but in the fourth round, ‘War’ suffered a cut on his right eye, and in the later rounds, he seemed slow. Still, Chisora didn’t let his age hold him back and landed some heavy blows here and there. Eventually, he went on to win the contest by a unanimous decision. In a recent interview, he addressed the requests from the fans.
