Anthony Joshua is coming off a redeemable win against Jermaine Franklin after consecutive losses against Oleksandr Usyk. Although Joshua won his last fight, a lot of boxing fans weren’t happy with his performance mainly because he went the distance with Franklin, and couldn’t end the bout sooner due to less engagement in combat. Joshua is known for his aggressive nature inside the ring. But nonetheless, Joshua is now getting ready to face Dillian Whyte again at the O2 Arena after eight years. The bout is scheduled to happen on August 12th, and it seems like Joshua won’t be holding any tricks back.
Joshua has put down Whyte before by a 7th-round Knockout, but the times are different now. Interestingly, Whyte is also coming off the win against the same opponent, Jermaine Franklin after his devastating loss against Tyson Fury. So both fighters are pretty much on the same standings in their career. In addition, Whyte signed the contract only to “avenge” his loss. ‘AJ’ seems to understand this as he’s sparring with big names to prepare for the upcoming bout.
Recently, Anthony Joshua posted an Instagram Story with his sparring partners, Jeremiah Milton, Jeamie TKV, and Michael Hunter. All men posed for the picture drenched in sweat celebrating hard work. Now, the boxing world hopes that they’ll see the real aggressive ‘AJ’ on the night of August 12th, rather than a calculative boxer.
