Shakur Stevenson and Edwin De Los Santos are set to face off in a boxing match for the vacant WBC Lightweight title in Las Vegas on November 16. This fight will be the main event of a Top Rank Boxing on ESPN card. This will take place two days before Formula 1’s inaugural race on the Las Vegas Strip. Stevenson, with a record of 20-0 and 10 knockouts, was initially scheduled to fight Frank Martin, an undefeated contender. However, Martin opted out of the bout after they sent over the contract. This led to De Los Santos stepping in as the next available contender in the WBC’s Lightweight rankings.
Fans noticed a slight red mark on Stevenson’s face in a story that he posted on his Instagram account. Before any rumors start, Stevenson has been careful to clarify what caused his face injury.
