Power Slap, the brainchild of UFC president Dana White, has received widespread criticism ever since it burst onto the scene. It aired its first episode on TBS. The sport is a massive risk to the safety of the participants, and some competitors have even suffered serious injuries as well. However, this brainchild of the UFC lynchpin has been highly successful. Recently, Power Slap 3 took place. Moreover, after the event’s conclusion, he took the chance to take shots at SHOWTIME as well.
The clip of White dunking on Showtime appeared on Twitter. In the video, he is seen speaking after the Power Slap event concluded. He expressed his enthusiasm for his own show that he witnessed that night. He joked that there were “awards for this show.”
However, he humorously also acknowledged that such accolades were unlikely. He stated, “We’ll never win an award for this show, but we should win an award for this show tonight. Production was… quality of the show was incredible.”

He compared his show to the boxing events that take place under the banner of SHOWTIME, “Like when you watch- I won’t throw anybody under the bus, but when you watch Showtime boxing, and these guys are putting on events. F*in replays are terrible, the production quality is horrible.”
White further stated his frustration with the apparent absence of replays. According to White, viewers were often left disappointed, waiting in vain for replays that never materialize. In contrast, his team swiftly provides multiple replays from various angles as soon as an action sequence concludes. However, this is not the first time, White took shots at Showtime.

Tell me folks what seems harder?
Keeping track of 12 live rounds of boxing where there's a ring, a factor of head & foot-movement, & the factor of anything can happen at any time?
or
5 minutes of a fixed camera shot and angles on a single point?
Praising himself for being cheap— Hunter G (HDmex) (@HDmexiqtioner) July 8, 2023
