As the boxing world stands now, there are only some who can stake the claim of being the face of the sport. Some of these are Gervonta Davis, Shakur Stevenson, and Devin Haney. All these boxers are currently on the top of ESPN’s list of the top-four lightweights. However, even among them, one name stands out the most- Davis. ‘Tank’ proved his might against boxing sensation Ryan Garcia earlier this year as he sent the boxer tumbling down in the seventh round of the match-up.
Both Stevenson and Haney are currently receiving much scrutiny from fans. Stevenson for not focusing on building a legacy and focusing on money and Haney for his controversial victory over Vasyl Lomachenko. Moreover, Davis has even earned the acknowledgement of the former heavyweight champion Roy Jones Jr. Recently, ‘Tank’ came out with an inspiring message for his fans.
