“F**K Outta Here. Y’all Are Insane”: Furious Kevin Durant Explodes at Fan for Joel Embiid Disrespect

It has been well established that the style of play in NBA basketball is completely different from that in European basketball. However, an argument begins when fans start to compare the two leagues and claim that one is better than the other. Many fans have slammed the NBA in the past for being too easy compared to the Euro League. 37-year-old Euro League player Kyle Hines brought the age-old argument back to the table when he expressed his opinion about the different styles of play in both leagues.

However, Hines’ comments led to a fan disrespecting the reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid, saying he could not hang in the Euro League. The 2-time NBA Champion Kevin Durant took offense to the Embiid disrespect and exploded at the fan.

Veteran Euro League player Kyle Hines pointed out the difference between the NBA and Euro League, “I’d say the NBA is checkers and Europe is chess.” Fans quickly saw the opening to disrespect the NBA and its superstars. One fan decided to slander the 2023 NBA MVP Joel Embiid, “NBA easy….. euro league hard. Everybody say the same. Joel Embiid can’t avg 30 in the Euro league!” The comment caught Phoenix Suns Forward Kevin Durant’s attention, and he slammed the fan for his outrageous opinion, “F**k outta here lmao. Y’all are insane.” Joel Embiid averaged a career-high 33.1 points last season, winning his first MVP trophy.

The back and forth did not stop there as the fan replied to the Slim Reaper on the same thread, taking shots at the NBA’s bad defense and free-flowing offense. KD ended the heated exchange after the fan started taking personal digs at the superstar. “U just goin on a tangent now. U win brother. I hope u ordered that Euroleague package to support them boys this year.” The former MVP concluded. Other fans also mocked the NBA after watching Durant’s exchange with the fan.

After Kyle Hines’ comments and KD’s heated back and forth with the fan, other fans decided to double down on the comments and mocked the 2-time Champion.

Some fans questioned Durant’s credibility as he had never played anywhere outside of the NBA and knew nothing about the Euro League.

Some fans brought up the comments of NBA superstars like Luka Doncic, who have played in both the Euro League and the NBA and dominated in both leagues. Even Luka Doncic admitted that it was easier to score in the NBA than in the Euro League.

Because of the different playing styles, it will never be determined which league is tougher than the other. The games are so different that it is basically like comparing two different sports. However, fans will always debate which league is harder. And superstars like Kevin Durant will always show up to defend the NBA and its superstars.
