The Los Angeles Clippers have finally figured it out. Following a lackluster beginning in the early phases of the season, the James Harden era in Los Angeles has picked up steam. In fact, the Clippers have embarked on a nine-game winning streak, since Ty Lue made Harden the point guard. Their current form has thrust the Clippers into championship conversation, however, there’s still a lot of basketball to be played.

The acquisition of James Harden didn’t yield immediate results. However, if recent performances are any indication, the Clippers emerge as strong contenders for the championship. But, the Clippers will miss the services of a few key players tonight. Paul George missed the Clippers’ victory over the Mavs due to illness, and his availability remains uncertain. The Clippers have listed him as questionable for the game against the Thunder.

The game is anticipated to be exciting, with both teams maintaining their positions near the summit of the Western Conference standings. The Clippers currently hold the 4th spot in the Western Conference standings, with 17 wins and 10 losses. Whereas, the Thunder occupy the 2nd seed in the Western Conference, having won 17 games and losing just 8 games.

Predicted Lineups: Thunder vs Clippers

The Thunder have shown promise in the early stages of the season, as evidenced with their high position. However, they will be tested against a more tested and experienced side in the form of Clippers. They would field a strong lineup which may consist of the likes of Josh Giddey, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lu Dort, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren.

Despite missing the likes of Plumlee and PG13, the Clippers still possess some of the best players in the league. The Clippers aim to put down a marker against the Thunder and announce themselves as one of the favorites for the NBA title. They could begin the game with James Harden, Terence Mann, Kawhi Leonard, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac.
