The Dubs have a fresh trouble two days after a clean injury report. The 21-year-old Moses Moody left the court after just playing 8 minutes tonight against the New York Knicks. While the Golden State Warriors had everyone ticked off the list after Stephen Curry’s ankle injury, Moody has made a fresh entry.

Moreover, an injury status report stated that the young guard wouldn’t return to the court for the rest of the game. Moody reportedly suffered a knee soreness during his short stay on the floor. Unfortunately, the game’s result also didn’t go in the Warriors’ favor as they looked to seal their playoff spot.

In the last few weeks, injuries have plagued the Warriors fold. It started with Chris Paul, who fractured his hand and missed 21 continuous games. Despite that, the team staged a massive turnaround and climbed up to the 9th seed in the West. While everything went well for a while, Stephen Curry rolled his ankle and missed three games.

Curry recovered from his ankle strain and returned to the court on Saturday and produced a game-winning performance. At the same time, the Warriors also unlocked a clean injury report after a long time. However, it didn’t last long as Moses Moody suffered a knee injury in the first half tonight.

The Dubs have only 15 games left in the regular season and they will have to make the maximum out of it to ensure their spot in the postseason. Even though Moody comes off the bench, the rising star’s absence will affect the team on both ends of the court. The 21-year-old has doubled his performance this season averaging 8.1 points in his 17.8-minute stay per game.

Moses Moody Injured

This isn’t the first injury scare for the youngster this season. In January, Moody suffered a grade 1 strain on his left calf and he missed more than 6 consecutive games. After spending time in rehab under the close watch of the medical team, he again returned to the court.

The severity of the current knee soreness is not clear. The Warriors next up face the Grizzlies on Wednesday night, the Moody has one more day to recover from soreness to get a clean chit again.

At the same time, the Chase Center crowd has already expressed its wish to witness more of Moody in the game time.
