The NBA community has been no stranger to this hype. Various users on Twitter took the opportunity to express their emotions over the two blockbusters. Carmelo Anthony with the double-feature drip

Despite the two movies being very different in content, fans have joined them at the hip since their release dates were announced. Now that the event is finally upon us, the social media spheres are clearly ramping up.

A Twitter user posted two pictures of Carmelo Anthony. He was wearing very different clothes in each one. The tweet was captioned, “Changing fits for my Barbenheimer double feature.”

The former Lakers man can be seen rocking a solid pink tee in one of the photos. This photo revealed the support for Barbie as the color pink is often associated with the famous Mattel figure.

Melo could also be seen wearing a pink cap which made the picture appropriate enough for the Barbie screening.

The other photo of the 10-time all-star was one in a retro military outfit.

Sergeant Melo looks all serious in the photo uploaded by the user. The drip in the second picture showcases the direct link to Nolan’s Oppenheimer.

The NBA is in on Barbie V/S Oppenheimer

Barbie and Oppenheimer are from completely different worlds! Barbie is a popular fashion doll loved by children for decades, while Oppenheimer is a renowned physicist known for his role in the development of the atomic bomb during World War II.

It’s hard to imagine these two figures competing, as they exist in entirely separate contexts and have different spheres of influence. Barbie brings joy and imagination to kids, while Oppenheimer’s work shaped the course of history and the field of nuclear physics.
