Former NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony’s ex-wife La La Anthony was promoting her latest project “Black Mafia Family” Season 3. During the red carpet, she jokingly said YouTuber Funny Marco was her date. They are not officially dating, yet the internet seems to adore these two together.

It all started a few weeks ago, Marco posted a video on his Instagram story tagging La La. Asking her if she would consider him for a date. La La reposted the video on her story and asked her fans with a poll: should Marco be given a chance? Once again it was all in fun from La La. Fans however majorly chose the answer yes.

Marco posted the photo of the red carpet event with La La on his Instagram and even showed the message he sent her.  He wrote, “It’s me Lala just wanted to see if you could let me take you out one day I know you be busy I be hella busy so let me know so I can pick a time. thank you for reading my dm”. The caption of his post was funny, “Fellas you can shoot 100 shots, all it take is 1 #bmf”.

La La Anthony even commented, “You doing good Marco 😂.” This playful back and forth once again had fans chiming in with their reactions.

One fan was on board with the Marco hype train and wrote “yall look good together Marco I believe in you.

Comparing his shooting skills to Steph Curry, one fan wrote: “He really took that shot like Stephen Curry 👏🏽🙌🏽💪🏽.

Some didn’t even feel it was real and asked the question “lol i’m buggin or they look cute together?????? KEEP SHOOTIN“.

One fan felt the two were compatible and would work well as a couple wrote: “I ship y’all😍😍🔥❤️.”

One fan couldn’t get past Marco’s last line from his DM and made fun of it:  “Thank you for reading my dm😂😂😂

What Marco said in his red-carpet interview

La La Anthony introduced Marco as her date for the night. “He manifested it and it happened,” La La said as Marco joined the interview. Marco started talking about the story of manifesting meeting La La. “I went in with this with confidence you know, she told me to get creed and of course, I had to take her out to eat and I spent about 1500.” La La quickly was seen denying that she actually went out for dinner.

“I talked about the dinner part, so yeah. You know this is our first date and where our next one gonna be?” Marco asked La La. She once again quickly denied going out on a date. “He manifested this and now it happened but we haven’t went on a date yet.”
