During his two seasons at Georgetown, a young Allen Iverson was already making waves. The Philadelphia 76ers legend was a 2x first-team All-American selection and Big East Defensive Player of the Year, creating a star status around him early on in his career. While many would notice his dashing tattoos, unique braids, earrings, and headbands, former NFL superstar Michael Vick had his eyes on something totally different.
The 4x Pro Bowl selection was blessed to meet the 2001 NBA MVP when he was 14 years old. Vick spoke about his first meeting with Iverson in an interview for ‘VLAD TV’. What do you think is the first thing he noticed on the Sixers legend’s hands? The former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback shared, “When I actually met him, I was fourteen. He was at Georgetown and I never forget. I met him, I was introduced to him and the only thing I noticed was the Rolex on his arm.”
