AEW Top Star Informs Triple H That WWE Needs to Fire the Person Running WWE For Fox for Their Insensitive Post

Despite the professional rivalry that AEW and WWE share, the employees of the two promotions don’t throw shade at each other often. However, recently a top AEW star took the liberty to straight-up call out Triple H and his company, demanding they fire an employee for a very personal reason.

Triple H’s employee triggers top AEW star

WWE on Fox recently uploaded a tweet with a picture of Bobby Lashley standing next to The Street Profits. The caption of the tweet read, “DEM BOYZ!” Although the post doesn’t credit anyone for this caption, AEW star, Mark Briscoe took the post personally.

Briscoe replied to the post by saying, “For real?? This shit is hilarious. @TripleH, whoever runs this twitter should probably be fired for lack of knowledge. Or they need the taste slapped out of their mouth for lack of reverence.”

The top star said so because the Briscoe brothers, Mark, and the late Jay Briscoe formed the team named ‘Dem Boyz’ together. Perhaps he saw this as a disturbance to his late brother’s memory and retaliated.

For those of you who aren’t well-versed in the incident, the world lost Jay Briscoe on the 17th of January, 2023, at the age of 38. The wrestling talent met a tragic head-on collision that cost him his life 8 days before his birthday.

So, Mark doesn’t want the Stamford-based company to intervene in the precious memory that he has of his brother.

Such instances of wrestlers calling out the personalities of other promotions are rare. The last time a similar thing happened was a few weeks ago. However, unlike Mark Briscoe’s reason, this was out of a real-life rivalry that a top AEW star had with CM Punk.

Top AEW star takes multiple shots at a talent that Triple H had newly signed

The relationship between Adam Page and CM Punk is infamous in the wrestling world. Months before Punk’s AEW release, people believe that this rivalry is the place where it all started. However, Page didn’t want to leave this rivalry behind even after Punk left the promotion.

As a result, seeing his WWE return at Survivor Series ’23, Page took to Instagram to take two subtle shots at his former rival. “Hangman” did this by posting random pictures on his stories with a song title that would reference what he wished to say to CM Punk.

But unlike the rivalry situation with CM Punk and Adam Page, the demand put up by Mark Briscoe might be considered by the WWE management.
