The holiday season is upon us and it brings the joy of Thanksgiving Day along with it. The national holiday brings plenty of opportunities to be grateful for the things in life. Former WWE star and Hollywood icon Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson decided to share a motivational message with his fans while he wished them.

Dwayne Johnson’s Message on Thanksgiving Day

Johnson took to Instagram in the early hours of November 23 to share his message to his fans. The star talked about how a person’s mindset plays a key role in this holiday. In his caption, he wrote, “Mentality shift from “I got to” to “I GET to” showing the powerful impact of how mindset changes the perspective. He further added that we as human beings get to do so many things and are offered so many opportunities. The Brahma Bull also said that we even get the chance to say “f**k this” when times get hard.

But he believes that the “Get to” attitude reminds us how lucky we are to be able to experience everything. He then concluded by saying, “Gratitude always calibrates the strongest.” The 51-year-old star also wished his fans once again and said that he will be forever grateful to his fans.  In the clip fans also saw him taking a stroll around his house while he recorded the message for them.

While that was the message shared by Dwayne Johnson on Thanksgiving Day, other WWE stars shared a special message for their fans as well.

How the WWE Universe celebrated Thanksgiving

One of the most unexpected posts on the holiday was by the Leader of the Cenation, John Cena. He decided to thank all the people who have helped him through his pro wrestling journey and gave a special shoutout to The Viper, Randy Orton. He shared a clip of them having a face-off during their time at OVW. Becky Lynch shared a picture where she could be seen spending some quality time with her husband Seth Rollins and a few other friends.

Then the most out-of-place post was by Chad Gable. While he wished the fans well and said that he was thankful for their support, he also mentioned what could make them his sworn enemy. A ritual that Gable follows for the holiday is to watch the 1993 comedy flick, Son-In-Law. He stated that if someone doesn’t watch the movie of Thanksgiving, they are his sworn enemy. For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let’s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
