NXT under the able hand of Shawn Michaels saw a lot of developments. Baron Cobin’s recent NXT stint earned him the massive opportunity to revitalize his gimmick and find more creative avenues. While inconsistency troubled his main roster run, the yellow brand allowed him to explore his character in depth.

Earlier this year, Corbin declared his free-agent status during the annual WWE draft. After being in limbo for a while, this landed him in the developmental brand. And he hasn’t regretted this new awakening.

During the recent interview with Fightful, the Lone Wolf expressed how the whole NXT run has been a blessing for him. He highlighted the importance of the brand trusting him with a lot of lifetime opportunities.

I would love to not be on Raw or SmackDown.’ Because I was also working at Cameron Grimes at the time on SmackDown, so I was doing NXT and SmackDown.
