Cross began her wrestling career at the age of 19 in 2008. After working in her home country Scotland for some time, she moved on to bigger projects, eventually landing in NXT in 2016. The female wrestler soon made it to WWE’s red brand based on her growth. She revealed her passion for the sport and her plans to not leave the promotion anytime soon.

However, she also stated, “I always knew that there is a possibility that I’m not physically going to be able to do that when I’m 50 or 60, right?” She feels that she can’t rely solely on the sport because every wrestler is just one moment away from a career-ending injury. So, she believes an academic degree will eventually help her later on in life after retiring from the sport.
