Speaking on his podcast, Jim Ross claimed, “I thought it was too much. I thought it was unbelievable. You know, pulling a weapon. You know, to kill someone with. It’s a little too far to progress, in my opinion. Yeah, I thought it was way overboard.”

However, he further claimed that he had nothing to say when his favorite people involved in it were okay with it. Ross said, “Vince loved it cause it was different. Sensational. Sensationalized storyline. And it was hard to swallow for me. But I just thought it was way over the top, people were to roll their eyes, they’re getting bullets like nothing, kill nobody. “
Ross stated that the entire spot was extremely overboard, and was just a sensational storyline, which Vince McMahon loved. Vince McMahon is often known for his love for extravagant feuds and storylines, and this is one infamous example of it.
