“Cheers Brudda” – Nick Kyrgios Thanks Novak Djokovic For Complimenting His Serve

Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has become a major figure on the ATP tour as a NextGen player. He is one of the best servers on the ATP tour and has been praised for this many times. Check out what he said to another player who complimented his serve.

The player who complimented Nick Kyrgios was none other than Novak Djokovic. He complimented him on Instagram live by saying that Nick has the best serve he’s ever played against and that he has a lot of talent. Nick replied to him on his Instagram story with a simple ‘Cheers brudda’.

Novak Djokovic certainly knows what he is talking about. He faced Nick Kyrgios 2 times in his career and lost both times due to Nick’s amazing serve. Nick’s serve is so good that he can serve his second serve with the power of a first serve. Check out the video below.

In the video, we see Nick Kyrgios who is a match-point down and is going to serve his second serve. Under so much pressure, Kyrgios served a 133 mph second serve ace saving a match point. He went on to win the match by serving another ace, this time with his first serve.

Only he could pull off something like this and that is why he is so special. He has the potential to be at the top tennis but sadly, he gets into a lot of controversies. These controversies are what inhibit him from winning some of the biggest titles in the sport.

The 2020 Australian Open saw a new Nick Kyrgios who was praised by many players for his new attitude. Let’s hope he continues with this attitude and can put an end to the reign of the ‘Big 3’ once the ATP tour returns from its suspension in July.
