Claudio Bravo has signed a deal with the Manchester based team, for an understood period of 5 years  for an estimated value of €25 million.

The deal was understood to be long coming before being confirmed by the Barcelona Director of football, Robert Fernandez.

This would most certainly mean the end of Joe Hart’s career at Manchester City, after playing over 347 games for the club over several tournaments. He is also considered the first name goalkeeper for the English National team. But Pep Guardiola, the new manager of Manchester City, does not believe the English national has what it takes to be a part of his line-up.

On the other hand, Claudio Bravo has been at odds with Andre ter Stegn at Barcelona, fighting for a first team place ever since Victor Valdes left the Catalan club. The player first caught the eyes of the Spanish giants during the 2014 FIFA World Cup where he pulled in a surprising array of amazing saves. After not getting the amount of pay time he had originally envisioned at the club, he demurred when it came to signing a new contract with Barcelona.

His last game at Barcelona ensured the Catalans thump Real Betis 6-2 with a hat-trick from Luis Suarez.
