The biggest news in Colorado right now is Julian Lewis visiting Deion Sanders and the anticipation of whether he’ll flip from USC to Colorado. But he’s not the only talent visiting Boulder. Another 4-star visiting prospect is 4-star OT Chauncey Gooden. The Lipscomb Academy HS standout is a 6’4, 290-pounder from Nashville who recently made an official visit with the Clemson Tigers on May 31. According to what Sko Buffs posted on X, “Chauncey Gooden is making a Big Announcement Tomorrow.” And Buffs fans are hopeful he’ll become a Buff.

Now, Colorado’s main target, Julian Lewis, is also in Boulder after a long wait and endless “WeWantJuJu” chants. But it looks like there’s hope because there have been some positive instances of the 5-star QB copying Coach Prime’s style. In his IG post, the Carrollton HS star posted a photo with Shedeur Sanders who appeared to be handing Lewis a key. He captioned the post “Perfect Timing” followed by an alarm clock and Googly eyes emojis. But the next photo is almost like a recreation of Deion Sanders’ classic San Francisco 49ers jersey layout as he was preparing for the Super Bowl. In Lewis’ post, he also laid out the Buffs uniform on the floor in a complete layout as he posed for the camera. Could this little action mean more than just a stark coincidence or imitation?
