Tennis phenom Coco Gauff has twice sailed into the second week of a Grand Slam event even before turning 16. On both occasions, she stunned the seven-time major champion, Venus Williams, in the opening round, and her dream run was concluded by the eventual champions.

As previously, she lost to Simona Halep in the fourth round of Wimbledon 2019 and then to Sofia Kenin at Australian Open 2020.

Post her  6-7, 6-3, 6-0 loss to Kenin in Australia, Gauff depicted her vision as a tennis professional. “My short-term goal is to improve. I mean, that’s the main thing. I’m doing well right now at 15. I still have so much I feel like I can get better on. Even my parents, my team, they all believe I can get better,” Coco Gauff said.
