The Kentucky Wildcats will be heading into the upcoming NCAA season with a lot of hope. The stellar recruiting of head coach John Calipari has continued, but the team has not held a National Championship since 2012. While the Wildcats aren’t favorites this year, they have a more than competent team.
With top recruits like Isaiah Jackson and BJ Boston, Coach Calipari has the talent to lead this team to great success. However, it is all a question of how they all come together on the court. But if there is any system and any coach that can whip players into winning shape, it’s John Calipari.
Kentucky guard BJ Boston is aware of this, revealing that Coach Calipari was the main driver behind his decision to join Kentucky.

They added size in the center with Wake Forest’s Olivier Sarr, who has transferred to become a Wildcat. He will be joined by Jacob Toppin, who is moving from Rhode Island, and Davion Mitz, who is coming from Creighton.

However, Boston may be the best prospect on this team. He is widely considered the best player in the entire Southeastern Conference. However, no college player can do it alone. With the aforementioned names and talented forwards like Lance Ware and Isaiah Jackson, the Wildcats could possibly make a deep run in the NCAA tournament.
The Wildcats may suffer due to their young team, with most players being freshmen. However, Coach Calipari will whip them into a state of competition in no time.
