Serena Williams Going For No. 5

One of the greatest players in the history of tennis – Serena Williams has also decided to play the Italian Open. She has won the titles 4 times – 2001, 2013, 2014, and 2016. She is going to be training to win her 5th title there but more importantly, she wants to use the event to prepare for a bigger tournament – the French Open.

The American star has not won the French Open since her amazing 2015 season. She definitely wants to win it again especially since she can achieve another incredible feat – the quadruple Grand Slam. This requires a player to win every Slam 4 times and it is incredibly tough. Completing it would be a great addition to Serena’s already-long list of achievements and hopefully, she will do it when the event starts on September 27th.
