There are a lot of factors that affected Mcgregor’s performance at 170. He jumped divisions, after a scintillating victory against Jose Aldo for the featherweight championship. Additionally, he switched from featherweight to welterweight in three months to face Diaz for the first time at 170 at UFC 196.
