I thought he looked really well in his condition and in his weight cut. I was very impressed with that. it takes complete discipline and dedication. I thought it was a good bout with Marlon. I think once he switched on to that high kick he was comfortable enough. I think Aldo was a better fighter and probably won the fight.

Conor then went on and said that he can see Aldo fight in a rematch down the line. Talking about the long-awaited rematch, Conor said:
You never know. Aldo is coming back at me. Maybe if he wants it.

However, Conor is very reluctant to cut weight for featherweight again as he explains:
I don’t know. I am at a great spot not having to cut weight right now. it’s easy for me to say I will do it, but when you are cutting weight it’s tough. That’s why I have immense respect for Jose and I knew that the media was saying he’s cutting too much weight.
