Since the release of Valorant in 2020, the game has endlessly been compared to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. CS: GO is primarily the father of all tactical FPS games. Valorant is immensely popular in the genre for its fast-paced game styles and attractive, cartoon-like graphics. Recently, the game even stepped into the competitive genre.

Naturally, more players than ever before are comparing Valorant to CS: GO now. One feature in question is CS: GO’s GOTV. CSGO’s powerful GOTV browser allows players to watch gameplay streams inside the game. Think of it as a TV channel for CS: GO streams.

Players can choose between tournaments and casual streams. The ‘Watch’ tab also hosts online events for players to watch. The feature further aids in watching all official CS: GO content across the planet in one place.

Novice players often watch pros play to understand how to use these agents to their best. Playing the corners, sniping early in the rounds, planting spikes without detection, everything is a game plan that needs to be learned. For amateur players, watching these streams is of great help.

Furthermore, GOTV allows players to roam the map and see the game from TPP as well. Not only Counter-Strike but other games like League of Legends has incorporated this feature too.
