Counter Strike Global Offensive: Valve Announce Exciting New Content As Current Operation Ends

When Valve announced the Operation Shattered Web DLC, players couldn’t wait for it, but they had to for about 3 years after the initial announcement. When it finally released in November of 2019, it was downloaded expansively. Four months later, it is time to say goodbye, as Valve moves on to the next phase of Counter Strike Global Offensive.
A popular Operation like Shattered Web running it’s course can leave some players disappointed. Valve was ready to address that issue as they got ready to retire Shattered Web. Just as 31st March marked the end for that one, the developers added some significant new content.
What’s new in Counter Strike Global Offensive?

Among them are two new maps to the matchmaking in few modes and a ton of new skins. The two new maps, Anubis and Chlorine are two finalists from a Counter Strike Global Offensive map contest named Mapcore Exotic Places Mapping Contest.

Anubis was the winner out of the two, but Chlorine was a close second. These two will replace Studio and Breach maps in the official matchmaking.
Moving away from maps, Valve has also released a natural heir to the Prisma case, named Prisma 2 case. Other than the 17 new weapons skins, there is also a chance of acquiring chroma finishes for the Horizon knives.

Furthermore, the case will also contain three Classified, five Restricted, and seven Mil-Spec skins. Below is the comprehensive list of the new skins in the Prisma 2 case.
