Former Indian captain MS Dhoni has been away from the match field for a long time now. The cricketer last played for India in the 2019 World Cup semi-final. Since then there has been no news regarding the return of MS in the National team.

Earlier there were rumors that Mahi will make a comeback in the team if he performs well in the IPL. However, the IPL 2020 has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak. Along with that the chances of Dhoni playing again for India looks dim.

In an Instagram live session on Thursday, Chennai Super kings batting coach Michael Hussey recently shared his views about the return of MS in the Indian team. He also talked about how the game of cricket will not be the same after everything comes back to normal.

Michael Hussey on MS Dhoni

Former Australian batsman Michael Hussey believes that MS Dhoni is completely fit to be a part of the Indian cricket team. He added that only Mahi can answer the questions related to his retirement.

Hussey said, “Of course he is still fit to play international cricket. But Dhoni is the best person to answer what is in his mind. MS is always very calculative. I would want to finish the match as early as possible but MS would say no because there is this bowler who is coming up to bowl or someone else that we need to see out,”

Hussey revealed MS Dhoni and Murali Vijay are the two batsmen that he always likes to bat with. He also praised Mahi for his ability to muscle the ball at any point in the innings.

The batsman added, “Don’t think I’ve met anyone like MS in that respect. Yes, he has got a calculating brain but he has also got that unbelievable power. He knows when he wants to hit a six he can, which is something I didn’t have,”
