In this time of crisis, I want to propose a three-match series in which for the first time, the people of neither country would be upset at the outcome of the games.

On top of that, Shoaib Akhtar says that if Virat Kohli scores a hundred then India will be happy. On the other hand, if Babar Azam scores a hundred then Pakistan will be happy. At the end of the series, both teams will emerge as winners no matter what the actual results are.

“Both teams will be winners irrespective of whatever happens on the field.”

He believes the series can help with the diplomatic tension between the two countries

Furthermore, Akhtar adds that there has not been an India-Pakistan bilateral series in a long time. Therefore, this series will receive a huge viewership. Hence, the funds can be equally distributed between the Governments of India and Pakistan. His belief is that the diplomatic tension between the two countries will reduce if the two countries play a series during these difficult times.

Shoaib Akhtar adds that right now everyone is sitting at home. Due to this, everyone will turn focus on the series and the views will be at a maximum. He does not say that the series must take place instantly. However, once the situation improves, a neutral location such as Dubai will be great to organise the three-match series.

Everyone is sitting at home at the moment, so there will be a massive following for the games. Chartered flights could be arranged and the matches could be held.

Finally, he concludes by saying that this series can be the beginning of bilateral series between the two nations.
