After a near four-month hiatus, CS: GO player Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander will return to the scene. The Astralis member took a break from competitive play after facing stress and burnout related issues. However, he will now return to be a part of the ESL Pro League Season 12 roster.

Jakob “JUGi” Hansen replaced “gla1ve” for the rest of the season. However, since he’s becoming active again, Patrick “es3tag” Hansen, part of Astralis’ roster for ESL One Cologne, will be sidelined.
“es3tag” was indeed impressive with his performance throughout the tournament. However, with the in-game leader returning, one or the other player had to give up their spot. Astralis stated that “es3tag” will still be observing and analyzing the team further to help prepare for matches ahead.
Will “gla1ve” be on the same level at CS: GO?
Post the announcement, “gla1ve” revealed that he is excited to compete again, but could not comment on his level. Although “gla1ve” has had some good practices, coming back after such a gap will be hard.
‘I’m really excited to get back on the server. It’s hard to say where my level will be against a top team like Complexity right now, but I’ve had some really good practice sessions with the team lately.

“Integrating the two new players have gone well, and I’m looking forward to playing with my old teammates, as well as with ‘Bubzkji’ and ‘es3tag’, they’ve both performed really well already,” “gla1ve” said.
Astralis Head Coach Danny “zonic” Sørensen is also excited to have “gla1ve” back, although this will be the first time where he has to pick specific players. “zonic” also mentions he had a hard time swapping “es3tag” for “gla1ve.”
He further clarified that all players will get to play in the coming months and their priority is bringing together the strongest roster.
