Having to handle cheaters in any game is quite frustrating, let alone multiplayer titles. CS: GO sees a hefty amount of them from time to time. Thankfully, YouTuber Scriptkid decided to joke around with all those cheaters in his attempt to eliminate such players from the game.

Scriptkid created a bait software to troll cheaters in CS: GO. The bait software named blue flame is posed as a website. Scriptkid also mentions that he used Google Adsense to further promote his software in the eyes of CS: GO cheaters.

The software was designed to look like a real cheat. However, a player using the bait cheat in a matchup will lead to a heavy backfire. It starts messing with their gameplay in unexpected ways that are often funny as described by Scriptkid. The new hacks adds a bit more punishment.

After each match, the cheater’s match replay is sent to the YouTuber, hence he is capable of showcasing them all on YouTube channel.

Breaking down the CS: GO cheat punishments

Whenever a cheater who downloaded the software tries to open a door, the door won’t open. Instead, a knocking sound will be played leaving them confused and vulnerable to their opponents. Scriptkid has included a lot of clips in his videos, so make sure to check them out.

The second punishment is perhaps the favorite of many. When a cheater is looking down the scope and tries to fire with AWP or scout, the bullets won’t be fired, but a sound will be played. It will be a while before the cheater figures out the phony sound, opening up the space for opponents.

There are also new tripwire punishments. At every entrance to a bombsite, there are tripwires that have a 50 percent chance of activating. When they are activated, they will cause a random punishment

One of the punishment comes in the form of movements. The cheater may try to move forward while shooting, but they will end up moving backward for 20 seconds. Another is the reverse speed hack that causes extremely slow movement for the same amount of time.

Perhaps, what is his greatest masterpiece yet is the punishment Scriptkid calls “Mind control”. This takes control of the player and make them do anything from throwing away their weapons to jumping off the top.

With such punishments implemented the game, cheaters are bound to step down. Scriptkid has managed to pull off a punishment system for all those who use his software. Reducing the number of cheaters has always been one of the top priorities in multiplayer games. Hopefully, with creators and developers trying their best, that day might not be too far.
