Cyberpunk 2077 To Have 18 languages Providing Excellent Localized Experience

Cyberpunk 2077 is going to house a lot of diversity, with voice-overs in 18 languages, and subtitle tracks. CD Projekt RED is aiming to provide a localized experience that will be unlike any other in the market. Taking their time with the game, the developers are currently tweaking and perfecting the game before its full release on December 10th.

Cyberpunk 2077 will have 10 distinct voice-overs

As revealed in a Tweet by Analyst Daniel Ahmed, Cyberpunk 2077 will feature versions with 18 languages and 10 voice dubs.

This is a huge undertaking and as Ahmad pointed out, the VA work is much bigger in scale than it was with CDPR’s previous massive outing with was bigger than Witcher 3 and all its DLCs.

This is exactly the case with sessions for all the languages. The amount of effort and hard work into doing these is unimaginable.

That’s a lot of paperwork

Fans also got to witness the massive script used to voice over the entire game in the Japanese language. Talk about undertaking a massive assignment like Cyberpunk 2077 and completing it in 18 different languages.

CDPR’s is aiming to provide a more localized experience to players, especially with what is surely its biggest project ever. They are showcasing a level of dedication towards the project that can see Cyberpunk shattering every record imaginable in the launch month.

The three life paths will only add even more depth to the voice work, adding even more meaning. Choosing the corporate or street or nomad life will change how the story will progress, and how the formality of language varies from each experience. Now, what could bet better than roaming around Night City, conversing in your own language?
